LPGA-USGA Girls Golf, a developmental junior golf program for girls ages 7-17, was formed to create a network for girls to learn to play golf, build friendships and sample competition in a positive and supportive learning environment. The only national initiative of its kind just for girls, the program provides the opportunity to achieve success, progress in golf, and establish a life long interest in the game. www.girlsgolfonline.org
What We Do
Girls work with a PGA or LPGA Instructor to learn the basics in rules, etiquette, full swing, short game, and putting
The program:
- Helps develop self esteem
- Provides opportunities and grant responsibilities to girls
- Provides an incentive to continue to progress and improve your game
- Creates a network in which girls feel comfortable in golf
- Teaches an appreciation and love for the game of golf because IT’S FUN!
